Biography

Xiaoping Bi, PhD, Chief Physician; received her doctoral degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and was a visiting scholar at the University of Pittsburgh, USA.
Clinical Expertise: Oculoplastic surgery and cosmetic eye surgery.
Clinical Focus: Skilled in oculoplastic surgeries including correction of blepharoptosis, small palpebral fissure, eyelid deformities, entropion and ectropion, excision of eyelid tumors, repair of eyelid defects, implantation of motility orbital implants, and reconstruction of contracted eye sockets; skilled in double eyelid surgery, eye bag removal, medial canthoplasty, correction of eyelid skin laxity, and various ocular rejuvenation procedures, as well as injectable cosmetic treatments and minimally invasive treatments.
She has published a total of 26 papers, 16 of which are indexed by SCI; as first author (co-first author), she has published 12 papers (6 indexed by SCI). She participated in the compilation of monographs such as Oculoplastic Surgery and Orbitozygomatic Plastic Surgery. She has led projects including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Youth Fund of the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau. As a key member, she received the First Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award, and the First Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award for Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, among others. She was selected as an Outstanding Young Teacher of Ninth People's Hospital and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She has presented and exchanged ideas at numerous domestic and international ophthalmology conferences and received awards for outstanding conference papers.
